IDX President Director, Iman Rachman, revealed that the exchange has finalized adjustments to its data distribution format and completed the socialization process with all exchange members. This includes the updated dissemination of investor domicile codes, which will be available after the first trading session each day.

The socialization was carried out on July 29, 2025, along with the delivery of the new data format to all exchange members. “We have distributed the updated format and are targeting implementation in early September,” explained Iman Rachman.

The Financial Services Authority (OJK), through its Chief Executive of Capital Market, Financial Derivatives, and Carbon Exchange Supervision, Inarno Djajadi, stated that the plan has been approved. However, the actual launch will still depend on OJK’s technical readiness.

According to Inarno, disclosing investor domicile code information is expected to present market data more transparently, reduce potential distortion, and minimize excessive speculation. In the new format, domicile code data will be released twice a day — after the close of the first session and after the end of trading — while broker code information will only be available after the second trading session closes.
