Bitcoin Millionaire Wallets Surge in 2025: What Does It Mean for Crypto’s Future?

According to a recent Finbold report, as of June 30, 2025, there were 182,327 Bitcoin wallets holding at least US$1 million—up from 155,569 addresses at the beginning of the year. This means over 26,700 high-value wallets appeared on the Bitcoin network in just half a year.

Interestingly, this growth was led by the second quarter (Q2), following a dip in Q1. During Q1, the number of millionaire wallets dropped by over 13,000 addresses, including 1,255 wallets that once held more than US$10 million. But the tide turned quickly in Q2:

• +5,169 wallets with balances over US$10 million

The return of big investors didn’t happen by chance. Bitcoin’s price rally to US$111,970 on May 22, 2025, along with the halving event in April (which cut block rewards from 6.25 to 3.125 BTC), reinforced the narrative of long-term scarcity and value appreciation.
